Child - Blueside (2016)

CHILD is a trio of jam-obsessed first-class musicians, who met in 2012 in the rock underground of Melbourne. Between the three working class Australians Mathias (guitar/vocals), Michael (drums) and Jayden (bass), who can best be described as a blues fanatic with liquid steel as blood, grew as strong a musical band as a group of Musicians can only cultivate and nurture themselves by the unabated urge for intense jamming. It quickly became clear that songs here would not be created simply as architectural objects on the drawing board, but as a result of a deep dialogue between three conspiratorial individuals who have given their instruments speech. From this dialogue, the self-titled debut resulted in the winter of

Langfinger - Crossyears (2016)

"A kick-ass power trio is quite probably the perfect rock formation. If there aren’t that many trios around, that’s because it’s a hard thing to pull off: with just three people having to nail the rhythmic fusion of bass and drums, the wild colours of guitar and the soul-grabbing focus of the human voice, there can be no passengers aboard. Extraordinary chemistry is essential. Everyone has to be right on it, and locked in. Which is why lots of trios fail, or cop out and recruit extras. Långfinger, from the fertile rock ‘n’ roll city of Gothenburg, are masters of the art. They’ve been playing together since they were in their early teens, and their imminent third album, called ‘Crossyears’, is both the thrilling culmination of their

Captain Crimson - Remind (2016)

"The Swedish hotbed of Örebro has already produced the likes of Truckfighters, Graveyard, Witchcraft and Blues Pills. Prepare to add Captain Crimson to this exceptional tradition. Formed in 2010 by vocalist Stefan Lillhager, formerly of Blowback, Captain Crimson draws inspiration from the classic sounds of The Groundhogs, Blue Cheer, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Jethro Tull and Cactus, meeting heavy boogie head-on with a modern swagger that has carried over to their latest and third album, Remind – their first for Small Stone Records. Remind follows their 2012 debut, Dancing Madly Backwards, which led them onto their first tour that Fall. Emerging with the lineup of Lillhager singing, bassist/backing

Datura4 - Hairy Mountain (2016)

"How far is it from the west coast of Australia to the west coast of the USA ? Turns out that, musically, it’s about a five minute trip in a space-buggy powered by stardust and riff-diesel. Fremantle’s boogie-psych rockers, Datura4, have followed up last year’s excellent debut album, Demon Blues, with a very worthy offering in “Hairy Mountain”.
In a changing world of bad news – Rick Parfitt’s retirement and a Phil Collins comeback tour (the world needed neither), it’s good to know we can rely on Datura4 not to fix something which ain’t broke.
To be honest, I was holding my breath for this second release as “Demon Blues” was so damn fine but “the 4” call poppycock and piffle on that “difficult second album syndrome”. For

Witchwood - Handful Of Stars (2016)

"In 2014, from the ashes of the cult band Buttered Bacon Biscuits (BBB), were born the Witchwood which released in 2010 "From the Solitary Woods", distribuited by "Black Widow Records" and positively reviewed by many italian and foreign music magazines and websites. To support that album BBB played in many gigs around Italy, also supporting important bands like Uriah Heep, Jethro Tull, Bud Spencer Blues Explosion, etc. They also released in 2013 “A National Acrobat” cover for the Black Sabbath tribute “Hands of Doom” for Mag Music Production. After the BBB split, some members of the band, Ricky, Andy, Steve and Sam, have decided, with the entry of new member Luca Celotti on bass, to

Glitter Wizard - Hollow Earth Tour (2016)

As the group enters it's ninth year, Glitter Wizard are set to release their most ambitious album yet. Hollow Earth Tour is a concept album of sorts; chock-full of reptilian overlords, underwater fascists, and inner-earth explorers. This band of California rifflords pillage the best of vintage hard rock while keeping their laser eyes on the future, creating a unique brand of oddball psychedelia. Their onstage performance is a glammed-up force to be reckoned with and they've been taking their act on the road from the West Coast all the way to Europe.

Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell - Keep It Greasy! (2016)

"There seems to be an endless horde of fresh-faced bands that proclaim to be resurrecting the spirit of rock n’ roll these days. They see themselves to grabbing the genre by the scruff of its neck and dragging it back to its supposed glory years. Yet, few bands can say they’ve lived the lifestyle quite like ADMIRAL SIR CLOUDESLEY SHOVELL. These working class grease rock bastards, fuelled by speed, cheap lager and roadside fry-ups, have the scars to prove their worth. The thing is, The Shovell has never claimed to be the biggest or the best around and frankly they don’t care who is. There is no brash egotism at play here, just a rough-and-ready honesty which permeates in what these three guys do.

Asteroid - III (2016)

"Much of Asteroid‘s aptly-titled third album, III, is unassuming. It arrives via Fuzzorama Records with a photo of the band’s gear — artfully shot, but a gear photo — on the front cover, and at seven tracks/36 minutes, it’s quick, almost humble listen. That’s precisely the point. It’s been six years since the Örebro, Sweden, three-piece released II , and while they would’ve been well within their rights to turn III into some grandiose, probably hyper-produced excursion given the occasion, it also would’ve been completely out of character. Asteroid went a much more fitting way, and III benefits from that choice.
Natural vibe, on every level. That’s what the gear shot represents.

Nightstalker - As Above So Below (2016)

"Greece’s premiere kings of all that is Stoner Rock and Psychedelia, the spectacular Nightstalker, are back with a brand new full-length album “As Above, So Below” just released via Oak Island Records. The latest album from these hard rockin’ mofos finds vocalist Argy, guitarist Tolis Motsios, bassist Andreas Lagios, and drummer Dinos Roulos doing what it is that they do best: Rocking! Their style of hard-hitting acid rock keeps one foot in the retro world while planting the other firmly in the modern age and thus the guys are standing tall in their unwavering pursuit of all that is heavy. Now well over twenty years into their legacy of fantastic vintage-vibed Rock ‘N Roll, Nightstalker have once again outdone

1000mods - Repeated Exposure To... (2016)

"With their third full-length, Repeated Exposure To…, Greece’s 1000mods affirm their place at the head of the pack of European heavy rock and roll. I mean that without qualification. Not just Greek heavy, but Europe as a whole. They were already leaders in their home country after their 2014 offering, Vultures (review here), which followed their 2012 Valley of Sand EP (discussed here), their 2011 debut LP, Super Van Vacation (review here), 2009’s Liquid Sleep EP (review here), and their first short release, Blank Reality, which came out in 2006, but a full decade later, the Chiliomodi four-piece have become bona fide masters of the form.
Released through their own Ouga Booga and the Mighty Oug

Truckfighters - V (2016)

"Truckfighters are one of the more immediate desert/stoner rock bands in a genre very well known for forgetting to get to the point (maybe lay off the weed a little, guys?). The Swedish band has a sound propelled equally from the desert and 70s smoke-filled arenas, but there’s a decided Soundgarden and Tool influence that makes Truckfighters’ music (even the more sparse and barren soundscapes) feel more propulsive than their peers. It helps that their music is certainly at the more melodic and accessible end of the stoner spectrum. These guys are much more focused than many of their peers, and the songs have reflected that over the years. Truckfighters have been known for a riff-fueled good time.

Wight - Love Is Not Only What You Know (2016)

Sometimes, things today are better than they used to be. But that’s not always the case. WIGHT know exactly when to take queues from the modern world and when to go back to the roots. Combining a powerful groove with complexity and extraordinary musicianship, they celebrate their musical journey throughout times past and present. Presenting doom-based psychedelic rock at the beginning of their career, WIGHT these days are Miles (Davis) ahead of that. Their carefully crafted fusion rock sound incorporates influences from artists as diverse as the Beatles, Parliament/Funkadelic and Mahavishnu Orchestra. Throw in some African rhythms and sounds along the lines of Osibisa, and the sun

SVVAMP - s/t (2016)

Swedish trio Svvamp is the real deal. Countless bands today strive to sound genuine — whether faking their way through a ProTools pastiche of carefully assembled takes, painstakingly tarnishing tracks to give them a “live feel” or simply copying the style of their favorite band. And, usually, their posturing is entirely transparent.

Every once in a while though, you find a band without self-conscious pretense that truly echoes the mood and vibe of an era when the rulebooks were burned with the draft cards and the act of playing rock’n’roll was simultaneously defiant and inherently casual. Svvamp is just that type of primordial beauty captured on a perfect 11-song debut.

Kaleidobolt - The Zenith Cracks (2016)

"It would be tempting to say that Kaleidobolt were born 45 years too late, indeed had this album been released in the early seventies it would now be held up as a classic. But they are of the here and now....the ambitious song structures and the sheer heaviness in places make it a contemporary release, but a classic nonetheless. These guys exude class from every pore..."
(Dayz Of Purple And Orange)
Kaleidobolt‘s The Zenith Cracks provides a play-it-louder response to the potential Kaleidobolt exhibited their first time out. Perhaps most telling is that even as the band’s ambition has grown in terms of aesthetic, they’ve drawn closer together as players as well, and

Salem's Pot - Pronounce This! (2016)

“Don’t try to fight it,” the band’s motto implores, “Salem’s Pot has come to destroy your mind.” It’s the same kind of winking tease employed by low budget horror films of the 70s-80s that essentially dared audiences to experience what they knew they wanted, but couldn’t possibly expect.
Likewise, the new album by mysterious Swedish quintet Salem’s Pot delivers truly gritty and captivating heavy rock in high contrast technicolor: a sonic equivalent of The Last House On The Left, El Topo and Blood Feast. Similar to the way such films made up for their lack of flashy, expensive effects with dim lighting and implied violence, a hallucinogenic sense of true evil lurks in the dark corners

The Judge - s/t (2016)

Many bands aim for that magic Sabbath sound, but very few are this good. The songs are tight, well written, even dark at times, with a touch of doomy psychedelia that’s like the mushroom on the cake!
The new album from The Judge is a crushing display of heavy riffs, retro-70’s driving grooves, heady lyrics and vocals that sear straight into your soul. A great set of tunes from this un-and-comer of the stoner scene.

“The Jury is out on this one. The Judge kicks ass. It kicks ass in a 70’s hard rock way. This is like the lost classic that has just resurfaced today. This shit rocks!”– http://www.theevilengineer.com

Blues Pills - Lady In Gold (2016)

Using the mystic sounds of the late 60’s and early 70’s as their base, the Blue Pills continue to blend a sweet concoction of blues-rock on ‘Lady In Gold’.The title track gets things off with a fist in the air rock anthem. The droning keyboards form the backdrop for the electric vocals of Elin Larsson as the song builds up to the chorus. Dorian Sorriaux’s guitar is soaked in overdriven furry fuzz and bleeds reverb and swooshing phaser giving off a strong psychedelic vibe.
While there is no denying that the Blue Pills have a love affair for the glory days of psychedelic rock and soul, they make this genre all their own with inventive melodies and hungry rhythms that seek to nest within the essence of your being. This is hammered home on

Slow Season - Westing (2016)

Contrary to the band’s name, downtime is a rarity for Slow Season. Sandwiched between summer 2015’s extensive tour with their RidingEasy labelmates Mondo Drag and Electric Citizen, plus several short west coast jaunts, the hard-working quartet also found time to hammer out its most powerful and ambitious album yet. Written, engineered, produced and mixed themselves on their own equipment, entirely on analog tape, Westing is a hard-hitting and powerful reminder of how at one time a rock ‘n’ roll band could be a transcendent experience.
While Slow Season’s sound continues to effortlessly nod to the great bands of the 60s-70s, Westing is truly the sound of a band

It's Not Night: It's Space - Our Birth Is But A Sleep And A Forgetting (2016)

Guitarist Kevin Halcott and drummer Michael Lutomski founded It’s Not Night: It’s Space early in 2010. Crammed in a small, smoky bedroom, they tapped in and jammed, compelled by chemistry to push forward. By that Fall, Tommy Guerrero had joined on bass and the band dropped two self-releases by 2012.
The first EP arrived in October 2011. East of the Sun & West of the Moon featured three epic instrumental pieces that set the tone for what to expect from INN:IS. Positive response came in virtual and physical realities, and the band set about honing their craft, averaging about 50-60 shows a year.
Momentum carried them straight into their first LP, 2012’s Bowing

Foghound - The World Unseen (2016)

The new album from Foghound is a crushing display of heavy riffs, Fu Manchu-ian driving grooves, heady lyrics and vocals that sear straight into your soul. A great set of tunes from this leading member of the stoner scene. “The World Unseen”~the new album ~
Produced by Mike Dean, Frank Marchand & Foghound ~ Vinyl/ CDs/ Digital~out June 2016 on Ripple Music
Foghound erupted out of the Baltimore asphalt in 2012, high on gas fumes and loud riffs. Forging a line up from ex members of Sixty Watt Shaman, National Razor and Junkrod, Foghound quickly got down to work honing their sound through many live shows across the Mid Atantic region and on their debut album “Quick, Dirty &

Throttlerod - Turncoat (2016)

Richmond, Virginia’s Throttlerod have always had a knack for surprising, and their fourth album, Turncoat, is no exception.
After making the transition from four-piece to trio, the outfit offered up their third full-length, Pig Charmer, in 2009, and took a left turn from their earlier, riffier vibes to blistering and aggressive noise rock. Like all their prior work, it was produced by Andrew Schneider, and had a sharpness in its chug that, while it still grooved, was clearly looking to accomplish something apart from the band’s earlier three LPs: 2000’s Eastbound and Down (on Underdogma), 2003’s Hell and High Water, and 2006’s Nail, as well their quiet, semi-unplugged 2004 EP, Starve the Dead.

Gozu - Revival (2016)

Damn, sometimes you just fall in love and fall hard. It happens, it’s a beautiful thing. You never expect it and are never looking for it in that moment and then all of the sudden twelve tons of love fall off the dump truck right on top of yours truly.
Boston’s own Gozu is that twelve ton dump truck and their third release Revival is all the love you can handle. How could that not be the case with a band named for a face-licking cow head in a low budget, absurdist yakuza movie? Well actually, I am glad you asked.
What we are dealing with here is eight songs that were properly assembled to interconnect and create what is the finest

Truckfighters - Sign deal with Century Media

The mighty TRUCKFIGHTERS’ own label, Fuzzorama Records, and Century Media Records team up to floor the gas and fuzz pedal. The Örebro, Sweden based band was formed in 2001 by Oskar “Ozo” Cedermalm (vocals & bass) and Niklas “Dango” Källgren (guitar). Since that time, they have released four studio albums and several more releases through their own label Fuzzorama Records – including the 2011 DVD

Farflung - "5" (2016)

If there were ever proof that stoner rock has become its own genre, it would be the fact that an album would have song titles like "Endless Drifting Wreck" and "Silver Shrooms" -- given the band, it would actually be more surprising if it didn't have song titles like that. Farflung have been at it often and long enough that by this point their jacked-up space boogie -- still audibly in debt to the patron saints of the whole shebang, Hawkwind, but no less enjoyable for that reason -- gives exactly what anyone who favors the approach would want: great album graphics perfect for black T-shirts, more echo slathered over the vocals than imaginable, and a

Valley Of The Sun - Volume Rock (2016)

Volume Rock. Of all the words in the English language that could be drawn upon to illustrate the sheer sound and substance of Cincinnati’s Valley Of The Sun, you’d be hard pressed to find two better. Picking up directly where they left off on last year’s Electric Talons Of The Thunderhawk, the Queen City rockers are back in 2016 with a brand new album on Sweden’s formidable Fuzzorama Records.
Set for release on 29th April, Volume Rock is the culmination of the band’s determination and ability to not only write and record great rock songs, but also their drive and ambition to become one of the

Brutus - Wandering Blind (2016)

Oslo’s Brutus are one of those rare breed, a solid and non-corrupted pure blues/hard-rock powerhouse, started by three Swedes and two Norwegians ten years ago and openly in awe of Leaf Hound, Grand Funk Railroad, and Blue Cheer, right on the fence separating the ’60s from the ’70s when musicians were already letting their hair hang but had yet to compromise their vision to please the money-hungry business man.
Recorded live in four days only at Engfelt & Forsgren Studios in Oslo by Christian Engfelt, who already worked with Cato Salsa Experience and Big Bang, Brutus’ third album, Wandering Blind, is as honest and down-to-earth as it gets: no modern tricks, no pose,

Wo Fat - Midnight Cometh (2016)

"Wo Fat have always held a special place in my heart with their obese riffs, destructive rhythms and slow plodding sense of sonic annihilation. They are one of those bands who have always managed to come off as 'heavier than thou' and the chunkier it gets the easier it is to fall in love. While yes, Midnight Cometh does have improvisational passages that get a bit masturbatory in many ways that only adds to the stoned rock and roll charm that Wo Fat so proudly use in order to cultivate a distinct sound and aesthetic.
The inherent jam magic of Midnight Cometh is powerful because it invokes a sort of live magic that you don't often get on wax. While

Bright Curse - Before The Shore (2016)

Formed in London in 2012 out of the expatriated ashes of French psychedelic rock band Soul Manifest, Bright Curse is a band that requires little introduction to anyone that has kept a close ear to the underground in recent years.
This May, the trio – featuring guitar player and vocalist Romain Daut, drummer Zacharie Mizzi and newest member Max Ternebring on bass – will follow up on their 2013 self-titled EP with the release of their full-length debut, Before The Shore, on HeviSike Records. Another rising star and staple of the subterranean/heavy-psychedelic set that has been making a

Red Spektor - Red Spektor (2016)

Fusing the more engaging key elements of psychedelic, stoner and classic rock, new wave Brit rockers "Red Spektor" spit out rock n roll riffs that are hypnotic, energetic and genuinely gripping.
The power trio set about honing their craft in the rehearsal room, soaking up influence from the likes of King Crimson, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Peter Greens' Fleetwood Mac - and were soon in a place where they could take their music to the masses, with a cluster of shows as the band laid siege on the UK.

The rock n rollers have now turned their attention to recording their

Black Rainbows - Stellar Prophecy (2016)

This new effort from the fuzzy trio follows closely the 2015 release of their fourth full-length "Hawkdope" on Heavy Psych Sounds.
BLACK RAINBOWS' frontman Gabriele Fiori comments:

"Stellar Prophecy is in line with our previous record "Hawkdope" released last year. It's made of seven songs for a total running time of fourty-four minutes. You'll be able to enjoy two long suites ("Golden Widow", "The Travel"), a couple of super fuzzy classics ("Electrify", "Is Time to Die"), as well as a 70's-sounding hit ("Woman"). The rest is to be discovered by the listener! We're very happy with this album and find it very well-balanced: it's spacey,

Electric Citizen - Higher Time (2016)

I was first really introduced to Electric Citizen back in November when I saw them opening for Pentagram on two consecutive nights at Saint Vitus Bar. I remember being immediately struck by the power of this band, from Laura Dolan's stunning vocals to the driving power of her husband Ross's riffs. Electric Citizen fully  understand the power of rock and roll and have been able to craft a sound that perfectly reflects their own individual talents. Tapping into occult, almost Coven-esque vibes, as well as invoking the burning rock and roll energy of a band like Blue Cheer, the good folks in Electric Citizen have put out a top notch psych rock record with Higher Time. One of my most hotly anticipated albums of the

The Obsessed, The Atomic Bitchwax and Karma To Burn - North American Tour 2016

That is a gosh darn significant lineup. The Obsessed, The Atomic Bitchwax and Karma to Burn? I mean, really. Who’s gonna complain about that show? Unless you happen to live in/near a city not being hit by the tour, I can’t really see anything to bitch about when it comes to pairing those acts up. Each offers something different from the others, but is completely excellent at what they do, whether that’s The Obsessed‘s trailblazing Maryland doom, The Atomic Bitchwax‘s frenetic winding riffage or Karma to Burn‘s instrumental crunch. Seems reasonable to expect these will be some killer evenings.

Blood Ceremony - Lord Of Misrule (2016)

Now four albums in, Blood Ceremony have crafted their finest release to date in Lord of Misrule. While they’ve admittedly strayed further from their metallic origins, they manage to keep things heavy, though in a different context. From the first notes of album opener “The Devil’s Widow” I was immediately transfixed and sent through a wormhole, coming out somewhere between 1968 and 1973.

“The Rogue’s Lot” is downright haunting. From the deceptively powerful feature riff to the danceable sway of the chorus, the song conjures visions of cloaked (or nude) occultists dancing around a

Spiritual Beggars - Sunrise To Sundown (2016)

Swedish vintage style hard rock pioneers SPIRITUAL BEGGARS are releasing their 9th studio album “Sunrise To Sundown” (March 25th, 2016 in North America) via InsideOutMusic.
In the light of the album’s release date, SPIRITUAL BEGGARS are now also launching a new animated video for the song “Dark Light Child”. Holy Grove - Holy Grove (2016)

Remember when heavy rock bands wrote songs? In the early ‘70s, Grand Funk, Bang, and Deep Purple brought hooks and choruses to seriously weighty tunes. In 2015, Portland, Oregon’s Holy Grove walks in the long footsteps of tradition, pitting soulful vocals, searing guitar solos, and swinging grooves into its own Bic-flicking dinosaur stomp.

After wowing NW audiences for several years, the band is now ready to unveil its self-titled debut—seven songs of blazing riffs, and cloud-piercing wails, with enough rhythmic heft to satisfy today’s doom-hungry audience. Vidal’s lyrics of myth and fantasy

Mountain Witch - Burning Village (2016)

This review has resided in limbo for well over a month now. At the behest of our good friends over at This Charming Man Records, I've been sat Burning Village for longer than I care to remember, and being a long term diehard fan of the band, it fair to say it's nearly killed me.
I will however open with this - For those of you who have followed Mountain Witch over the years, you may be somewhat taken a back
by trio's most recent sound. It's out with the traditional sombre doom-groove and in with something wholly more, well, retro. Fortunately the change to the band's dynamic has been pretty
gradual, with the introduction of a third member and the subsequent

Dead Feathers - Dead Feathers EP (2016)

“Ascend yourself into the blanketing incense smoke and celestial grooves that is Dead Feathers. Like the Night sky, this band is nothing below a breath of fresh air. With melodic female vocals and the fuzz driven riffs you might as well be seeing the fortune teller herself when you see this band live. This band takes hold of you and does not let you go!”
Originally self-released by the band in 2014, the debut EP by Chicago 5-piece Dead Feathers has been picked up by UK label HeviSike Records for a worldwide release in late 2015 including a limited edition coloured vinyl 10″.
Combining elements of retro blues rock with soulful, melodic

Greenleaf - Rise Above The Meadow (2016)

If the colossal hug of opening track ‘A million fireflies‘ makes you think of Dozer, you shall be forgiven: one or two Dozer members indeed belong to the Greenleaf ranks! Still, Rise Above The Meadow has no intentions of simply being the product of some side project: their sixth incarnation sees the Swedes taking the Börlänge stoner sound foundation on weird and wonderful journeys! Playfully progressive parts melt into thunderous riffing, and you bet the guys still have enough breath to get their rocks off Queens Of The Stone Age-style. Greenleaf have been invading your dreams and know exactly what you need – this highly melodic masterpiece is the spark to light your fire!

Mondo Drag - The Occultation Of Light (2016)

It’s no minor thing to pack up and leave your home. Heavy psych mavens Mondo Drag relocated from Iowa to Oakland, California, after recording their self-titled second album (released on RidingEasy in 2015), and the move is central to understanding the progressive turn that their third record, The Occultation of Light, represents.
“Each of our albums has directional changes in songwriting and this third chapter is no exception,” says vocalist/keyboardist John Gamino. “Since moving to Oakland, we’ve been privy to the large amount of music that flows through a major cultural center. We’ve seen legendary acts like Magma, King Crimson, Goblin, and Yes.

Wolfmother - Victorious (2016)

The Grammy Award-winning Australian hard rock band Wolfmother first captured the attention of the record-buying public when they moved from their New South Wales base to Los Angeles in the spring of 2005 to rent out Cherokee — the famous Hollywood recording studio — home of recording artists such as Aerosmith and Korn.
After a while, the recording was diverted to Sound City and a first single was produced. The Wolfmother project was a three-piece with Andrew Stockdale (guitar soloist and lead voice) working closely with bassist and keyboardist Chris Ross and drummer Myles Heskett.

Duel - Fears Of The Dead (2016)

DUEL is heavy psychedelic stoner doom metal from Austin, Texas. Hugely influenced by the darker sounds of early 70’s Proto-metal. Features two ex Scorpion Child (Nuclear Blast)members. Their sound is menacing and brutally old school. Total purists, their tunes cut right to the bone with heavy, deep groove and blistering tone. Tough and Loud! Hard rock as it should be!

Egypt - European Tour 2016

Eclipse Productions: In cooperation with Total Volume Agency we are thrilled to announce Egypt are coming back to Europe. Hailing from Fargo, North Dakota via the dusty plains of ancient Cairo, Eclipse Productions is pleased to introduce you to Egypt.

Fusing all the best parts of this scene we love, Egypt are a band with a lot of strings to their bow. Their acclaimed self-titled debut in particular shows this off but Egypt continue to add to that sound, cranking the noise up to a sludgier ceiling to add even more variety for their first full length ‘Become the Sun’.

As there are already some event posters going around the globe (a full tour poster is in the making), here´s the full tour announcement with all pleasure:

29-4 Desertfest London (UK)
30-4 Desertfest Berlin (DE)
01-5 Mohawk Mannheim (DE)

Lonely Kamel - Announce European Tour 2016

This camel is certainly not a lone voice in the wilderness. Especially since LONELY KAMEL indeed sound like a desert, but in truth come from Norway. And obviously traditional Hard Rock can be produced quite exquisitely between fjords and endless forests, which sound nice, meaty and dry. On their fourth album the Norwegians act in the tension between Hard Rock from the seventies, Stoner Rock, Blues, Psychedelic and a dash of Doom.
